The Mobile Film Office has teamed up with eight Local Production Companies along with an occasional feature film / TV Show to offer on-site job training opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in the industry. Below you will find information on the current internships available and the application to apply. If you do not currently see an internship you are interested in, please complete the Shadow Program Application and we will keep your information on file for when new opportunities become available. INTERNSHIPS
Craftshow Digital is looking for individuals who are interested in collaborating with our creative team and learning industry best practices through Video Editing. Our schedule varies per project and availability, with no set hour requirements; however, if access to any equipment is needed, the office will be open during normal business hours. Some knowledge of editing and graphic design software is preferrable but not required. This is a paid position open to all college students.
Craftshow Digital is looking for individuals who are willing to apply their creative skills in a variety of ways throughout the production process as a Production Intern. Our schedules vary per project, requiring flexibility and the ability to do some work outside of the office. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are highly recommended. This is a paid position open to all college students.
Gulf Coast Studios Internship: Gulf Coast Studios is offering a paid internship to a current College Senior in the role of a part-time marketing /UPM/ 2nd AC for the Spring Semester. The internship will involve onset and offset responsibilities and require knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, basic Graphic Design, writing, and editing skills. The intern will learn about Marketing, Video Production organization, Social media management, and some Camera. The intern will be required to put out a newsletter biweekly for the company distributed through mail chimp along with handling some aspects of social media. The ideal candidate would be organized, a proficient writer, with knowledge of social media, some graphic design skills, the ability to edit, and an interest in video production.
Requirements: Must be a Senior in College, Knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Internship Dates/hours: Spring Semester (1st week of January - end of the school year). Flexible hours with a requirement of 5-10 hours per week.
